Description:

Recognizing the opportunity for and the development of compliant clinical documentation integrity (CDI) queries is essential to any CDI program. This CDI Query workshop is an interactive opportunity for CDI query professionals to learn how to recognize CDI query opportunities and practice the compliant process of developing a CDI query. This interactive workshop will use real case scenarios to help the attendees apply the information. The case scenarios will include opportunities to identify and write various types of CDI queries, including a special focus on clinical validation.

This workshop is for new CDI query professionals or CDI query professionals who would like to have a refresher in the development of compliant CDI queries. Attendees will have the opportunity to identify documentation opportunities and develop compliant CDI queries and receive feedback from AHIMA experts.
